Interclub at Burton Fleming started off grim - driving rain, chilly, windy, roads gritty, muddy and major ponds.... then the sun mysteriously appeared by the end. Rob Grainger DNF with loosening handlebars/tribars. Mike Potter only SP finisher 27.36. Winner Robbie Krygsman 23.45. 14 starters, 13 finished. Thanks to Brid and particularly Greystone Small for organising and to all marshalls & helpers who had the worst job of the day.

Tuesday May 28th Mountain 17m hilly - Troutsdale (emergency/short course)
Good turnout of 14 riders tonight - coolish in the easterly breeze making it tough for the leg back from Snainton.
Such a pity it was a short course due to the traffic lights/roadworks at Birdwatcher's car park. Fastest was John Galway in 46:12, then Matt Purnell 46:55 and Steve Dodds an excellent 3rd in his comeback year. Brilliant ride from Ben Sixsmith, cruelly denied the juvenile club course record (as it wasn't the full course). We reckon it made about 45 seconds to a minute difference. This also affects those who would have recorded pb's.
